Standing Ovation: A William Baugh Limited Edition Art Print

Come Get Good™ presents the Long Live Bro. William E. Baugh Collection (Print), For any man of Omega, The name Bro. William Edward Baugh (15th Grand Basileus: 1936-1937; Vice Grand Basileus: 1933-1935; Grand Marshall of Indianapolis Conclave ’28), should evoke feelings of enthusiasm, duty & unselfishness (IF NOT, TIGHTEN UP).

Nicknamed, “The Biggest Man in the Fraternity”, it wasn’t his large physical stature that would earn him that name, but rather his “big heart” and devotion to Omega. Bro. Baugh is most known for the “methodical and thorough manner in which he did his work”(Dreer 232).

As a Grand officer, during the “Great Depression”, Bro. Baugh took on the herculean task of spreading Omega’s ideals by attempting to keep financial chapters active + inspiring detached chapters/brothers. He is said to have written, over a thousand letters and received and read hundreds of letters from district and traveling representatives. Furthermore, with no treasury allowance for travel, he traveled extensively, visiting a multitude of chapters near and far at his own expense.

“As an expression of appreciation for his services, the brothers at the Twenty-sixth Annual Conclave at Cleveland, in December 1937, gave him an ovation for thirty minutes” (Dreer 232)
